Once a year, you should bring your pet in for a check-up. This will include a full physical exam, necessary vaccines, evaluation for dental care, and parasite screening. For older pets, annual blood testing is advised. Your veterinarian will check the health of your pet from head to tail and address any concerns at that time.
If you are bringing your pet in because they are not feeling well, we offer a variety of diagnostics in addition to the standard physical exam. The doctor may recommend bloodwork, x-rays, or an ultrasound to better diagnosis your pet's ailment.
Bring in any medical history you have of your pet when you come to our vet clinic, including vaccination records and medical notes if possible from their prior veterinarian. Our brilliant support staff will take your pet's history at the beginning of the appointment, as well as any concerns that you would like addressed that day.
In some circumstances our doctors may refer you to a specialist who has advanced expertise, in areas such as internal medicine, cardiology, oncology, or neurology.
